My original vision for my haint blue porch ceiling was a fan + light kit. However, I couldn’t find any outdoor fans at Home Depot or Lowes that didn’t look like something a Floridian would install. I guess only old people sit outside under fans?
Regardless, this light got installed (after dark, with much cursing) last weekend and I’ve been enjoying having my porch lit up by it every evening (I have it on a timer). It was $39.99 at Home Depot and the glass panes cast a really pretty light across my hard-earned haint. Another pro is that it is completely enclosed which means no bugs collecting inside of it a la my previous, blue-light-special light that was installed when I bought the house.
